Hello,

I am writing on behalf of my husband, who has been hit hard with Parkinson’s.

I am his full-time care giver.  This disease is relentless and isolating. I cannot say enough about the Punch Out Parkinson’s boxing program, which we discovered exactly one year ago.  Frankie and his team have stood with us, and supported us by offering this free exercise program three times a week. Rick has benefited both physically and emotionally since joining the program. It involves exercise, boxing routines, coordination challenges, balance, and brain stimulation. Every session sees 20-25 people afflicted with this disease come together to work out.  We would be devastated if it ever had to shut down. As a caregiver, I have also found a family here. A family of people who understand each other, support each other, and really care. This is more than an exercise program.  It is a lifeline, a Godsend, a support system. The Parkinson’s Wellness Center next door is a place to connect, relax, and enjoy each other’s company.

Please consider a donation to help fund this wonderful boxing-based Parkinson’s class and Wellness Center. There is nothing else available that comes close to what it offers us. Frankie has been offering this program free for the past several years. He has such a heart for people with Parkinson’s. We are so grateful for his ongoing support and efforts to keep it going.  Please help us!
